Senior Final Examination Schedule

Examination Schedule: Please
inform students of the following information.
q
Students are to report
to homeroom so attendance can be taken. Bells will be used at the beginning and
end of the examination time.
q
The first exam will
begin at 7:55 a.m. and last until 9:35 a.m., except foreign language exam that
will run from 7:55 – 8:55 a.m.
A bell will ring to indicate dismissal time. If students are late for an exam they should sign in at the
attendance office and then report to the exam room.
q
The second exam will
begin at 9:50 a.m. and will last until 11:30 a.m.
q
No lunch will be served
in the cafeteria during examination days.
Students who need to remain in the building should bring their lunch.
Teachers may leave the building for lunch, but must return by 1:00 p.m.
q
Students who choose to
remain in school may work in the library (quiet study). That is the only area
open to students. The gymnasium is not open.
q
Make-up exams will be
proctored by the classroom teacher and may be taken from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. each
day of the exams, or at other times per the teacher’s discretion.
Proctoring Notes:
n
Supervision of students
before, during and after exams is a responsibility we all share. All staff is
asked to please pay special attention to student behavior and be as visible as
possible.
n
Caution to all staff: If
your classroom is being used as an examination room, do not leave personal or
school items on tables or desks that are valuable.
n
Teachers proctoring for
other staff members are asked to report promptly to the exam rooms so that all
exams can begin on time. Carefully follow the directions received for
administering the exams.
n
Please do not leave the
exam room unless relieved by another staff member or until the teacher whose
test you are proctoring has picked up all test material.
n
Be diligent while
proctoring to discourage potential cheating.
n
Account for all testing
materials distributed and returned.
Collect all scratch paper as well.
Do not pile copies of exams or answer sheets where students can access
them. Collect all materials in an organized manner.
n
Keep a list of students
who arrive late. Do not allow students to eat or drink during the test. Do not allow students who finish early
to talk or distract others. Please
do not dismiss students until the conclusion of the exam period.
n
Only dismiss students to
Ms. Marzano or special education teachers if they have a pass or if the teacher
whose test you are proctoring gives prior approval.
Call the main office if you
need any assistance.
