ALL STUDENTS:
o Seniors are only required to attend school when they have a scheduled exam. When taking an exam, are to report to homeroom on that day.

o May leave school grounds after exams if private transportation can be arranged or remain in the school building to study, but must stay in the Media Center or the cafeteria. Bus transportation is provided at 2:28 p.m.

 

SENIOR PROM
When: Saturday, May 7th ­ 8:00 p.m. ­ 12:00 p.m.
Where: Lily Langtrey's
Attire: Formal
Tickets: Price to be determined.
STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO ARRIVE AT THE PROM SITE NO LATER THAN 9:00 P.M. Students who choose to leave the prom before 12:00 p.m. are to have discussed their plans with their parents. Proms are exciting events for students and we all share their anticipation for this annual event. We remind you that all school rules and policies will be enforced during this school-sponsored event as outlined in the Student-Parent Handbook. Students attending the prom are restricted from other areas of the hotel during the evening. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to a delightful evening.

 

 

AWARDS ASSEMBLY
When: Friday, May 27th ­ 9:00 a.m to 11 am (approx)
Where: Gymnasium
Attire: Gap and Gown
Tickets: Not needed
Agenda: 7:40 - 8:00 a.m. Cap and gown distribution distribution in
homerooms.
8:00 - 8:50 a.m. Awards Assembly rehearsal in the gymnasium
9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Awards Assembly
The Awards Assembly is held during the day so that all students can benefit from the recognition being given to classmates for outstanding achievements. Following the Awards Assembly, there will be a reception in the cafeteria for all award winners, parents and presenters.

BACCALAUREATE ­ Optional Attendance
When: Wednesday, June 1st ­ 7:00 p.m.
Where: Auditorium
Baccalaureate is a program sponsored by senior parents and students.

COMMENCEMENT REHEARSAL
When: Thursday, June 2nd ­ 10:00 a.m. ­ 12:00 p.m.
Where: Gymnasium and football stadium
Rehearsal for the Class of 2005 will be held in the gymnasium beginning promptly at 10:00 a.m. Seniors must arrive no later than 9:45 a.m. to check the seating chart, which will be posted on the trophy case windows in the gymnasium lobby.

COMMENCEMENT
When: Friday, June 3rd ­ 6:30 p.m.
Where: Great Valley Stadium
Attire: Boys are to wear a white shirt, tie, long pants, dark shoes and dark socks; girls are to wear dresses and dress shoes. Students may not wear sandals, athletic shoes or jeans. See Mr. Fidler if you have questions.
Tickets: Green
Each senior will receive ten (10) green tickets for admission to the stadium. Four (4) yellow tickets will be issued at Commencement practice to be used in case of inclement weather. If you desire additional tickets, please go to the main office before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3rd. Tickets are required for all guests. Every senior who participates in the Commencement Exercises will be required to have satisfactorily completed all coursework and fulfilled all obligations to the school. Seniors will park in the Westbrook parking lots and use the Moores Road entrance. They are to report to the high school by 5:30 p.m. and go directly to their homerooms.
HOMEROOM TEACHERS WILL ISSUE DIPLOMAS IN THE GYMNASIUM IMMEDIATELY AFTER COMMENCEMENT. You are cordially invited to a reception in the cafeteria immediately following the Commencement ceremony.

IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, COMMENCEMENT WILL BE HELD IN THE HIGH SCHOOL'S GYMNASIUM AND THE AUDITORIUM WILL BE USED FOR OVERFLOW GUESTS TO VIEW THE CEREMONIES ON CLOSED CIRCUIT TV.
